2003-04 NCAA Water Polo Rules
At its annual meeting March 8-11, 1998, the NCAA Men’s Water Polo Committee voted to adopt FINA/United States Water Polo rules with certain exceptions. NCAA exceptions are indicated in bold. For the third consecutive year, the NCAA compiled the following statistical information regarding student-athlete ethnicity in intercollegiate athletics at its member institutions. This information provides a general view of recent historical trends in participation by gender, sport and division.
 
2001-02 Race Demographics of NCAA Member Instutions Athletics Personnel
The race demographics study is a biennial study designed to collect data on the racial and gender breakdown of athletics personnel at NCAA member institutions. The 2001-2002 Institution Staff Demographic Form was voluntarily completed by NCAA member institutions’ athletics personnel for this continuing study. The NCAA Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee (MOIC), formed in January of 1991, has been using this data since 1995 to measure broad changes over time. The proceeding charts, graphs and tables show the results from the 2001-2002 form.

Typically, administrative rules are those dealing with preparation for the competition. The conduct rules are those that have to do directly with the competition. Rules may not be altered, unless flexibility is indicated in a specific rule.

The conduct rules are those that have to do directly with the competition. Rules may not be altered, unless flexibility is indicated in a specific rule. NCAA member institutions are required to conduct their intercollegiate contests according to these rules. The administrative rules indicated in this book are listed below. All other rules deal with the conduct of track and field competition.
